Tomorrow’s web experience depends on today’s web education. Shouldn’t web education reflect all of best features of the World Wide Web by advocating accessibility and usability for all? While this may sound like common sense, the fact is that this web education program doesn’t exist - yet.

At the Web Education Rock Summit the members of the Open Web Education Alliance (OWEA) hope to change that. The WE Rock Summit will be hosted by The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, giving Chattanooga the unique opportunity to be a part of an international movement within the web industry. While at the Summit OWEA members will further develop and position their new alliance to accomplish the mission of making standards-based web education a reality.
