Ad 2 Honolulu is a part of National Ad 2, a division of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and works closely with our local parent club, the AAF-Hawaii. Members are 32 years and younger, either employed or interested in the world of advertising and its related fields.
We explore fresh ideas, broaden our horizons, and meet the right peeps all to sharpen our skills. There's a heap of talent and ambition in the club - reaching all corners of the industry - and with that comes a healthy dose of good ol' partying.
Ad 2 Honolulu was established in 1969 by very insightful people who knew there was a need for an organization built specifically for young advertising professionals to learn, network and socialize.
“Ad 2” is derived from the “second ad club”, meaning we’re the young guns who decided to separate ourselves from the older folks’ Ad Club. Pretty smart, huh?
