I made my first site in 1997 when I was spotty 16 year old. In between moshing to Rage Against The Machine and dreaming of playing for Everton FC, I decided I wanted to sell t-shirts so I built an online shop. People didn’t buy online in 1997 and my designs were crap so that died a slow death. It taught me enough about web development to get me hooked.
